Meet Mariah

Hey! I’m Mariah.

Fitness and health started for me at a young age. My family was always very active, I grew up with running, canoeing, and skiing, but eventually found a love for swimming and horseback riding. I swam competitively for 11 years (it was my main love) but when it came to an end for me, I found myself exploring the fitness center at the YMCA I was a lifeguard at.

Over the years my fitness goals have evolved. At first, my intentions were to stay in shape since I was no longer in the pool for 2 hours a day. Eventually it turned into wanting to add muscle mass and see how far I could push myself, which eventually led into the goal of competing.

I competed in my first bodybuilding competition in spring 2018, and have since competed in both the OCB and INBF organizations, and have competed in 4 total shows with more planned in the future.

In the last 7 years that I’ve been pushing iron, I’ve learned so much about the body, fitness, and overall health, the sport of bodybuilding, and most importantly, I’ve learned more about myself. Training altogether is a discipline – mentally and physically, and it’s tough but incredibly rewarding.

My focus is 1-1 personal training, small group classes, and nutrition and habit coaching. My goal as a coach is to educate and empower those that I work with to discover their potential and take control of their health and fitness.
